Dublin's sunrise, or the most scenic walk to work

Let's start with a generic cringe-worthy sentence that ends up being true: you don't know what you have until it's gone. Here is an example of such an instance:

That is what graced my eyes walking to and from work in Dublin, at least twice a week in the last months of the year. Sometimes in the orange tones, sometimes in a pink palette, sometimes shy and pale, most times vibrant.

The difference in commute is quite striking now that I am living and working in Munich. I've traded a 30-minute walk crossing the river Liffey pictured above and Dublin's city center to almost an hour of packed underground followed by a local bus.

I was complaining much in Dublin that it was too cold, too long and tiring, but now I would exchange it a hundred times over.

Though much less scenic, the bus part of my current commute involves one roundabout with a little surprise: the Alps! When the morning is clear enough and the light bright, you can see the sharp silhouettes of those high mountains proudly contrasting the sky.

Another one, just to make your eyes happy.
